Bernard Blum Award 2017 for Novel Biocontrol Solutions
IBMA is very proud to announce a unique opportunity to call for nominations from the industry for novel biocontrol solutions that will make an impact on this rapidly growing market.
IBMA will award a trophy, interview and product placement in New Ag International and 2BMonthly publications, as well as complementary registration for ABIM 2018 and the 3 shortlisted finalists will have a poster to display their innovations at ABIM 2017, the premier global biocontrol industry event.
It is expected that the winning entry will have a high impact in management of pests or diseases whilst having a low impact on human health and the environment.
As with our winning entry from Vestaron in 2015 and Agrauxine Le Saffre in 2016, there will be a permanent linking of the winner and their contribution to our industry with our founding father Bernard Blum whom the award and trophy is dedicated to again in this 22nd anniversary of the formation of IBMA as an association.
Nominations for this prestigious new award should be provided to Isabelle Pinzauti Babrzyński prior to 15th July 2017. Please fill in the form attached.
This award will go to the product judged to be the novel biocontrol product with the most potential impact.
Applicants should complete the application form to describe the product and its impact.
The judges will be looking for innovative products with the benefits mentioned.
The target(s) should be described as well as the method of application.
The product should be effective and acceptable to users and distributors. It can be for any crop or also for use outside agriculture.
We are looking for products that perform in the field, not just in the laboratory.
