14th IOBC-MRQA Workshop- Mass Rearing High Quality Invertebrates for Multiple Purposes, Mérida, Mexico 14-17 November, 2017
The workshop objective is to explore opportunities for advancing the rearing of high quality entomophagous and phytophagous insects and mites, entomopathogenic nematodes, and other invertebrates for plant and animal pest management, human and animal food, and a variety of other uses.
The program will consist of symposia on current “Hot topics,” with invited and submitted oral presentations, and posters on the selected aspects of arthropod rearing as they relate to production and quality control. Only a limited number of speaking slots will be available for submitted talks and selection will be made by the organizing committee based on the topic and novelty of the talk. Presentations will serve as a basis for discussion and exchange, with the final aim of improving collaboration among scientists and practitioners. The program also will include an organized excursion.
